This patent-pending glaze technique creates a crystaline shield like layer of protection that results in a more durable surface wear resistance. With Outstand Technology you get a wear layer that is scratch, stain, and frost resistant. The tile is also infused with Microban Antimicrobial Technology which inhibits the growth of stain and odor causing bacteria on the surface of the tile. Urban Tones is made to coordinate with these other American Olean Tile Series: Urban Canvas, Bright, Matte, Unglazed Ceramics, Satingo, and Satinbrites.
