DIY Attic Bathroom Renovation
Posted On January 12, 2016
Kate recently converted the attic space in her home to an in-law suite and was searching for tile for her new shower. Her main inspiration was large white matte subway tile which she was able to find at SouthCypress.com.
In only a couple weekends, Kate was able to install a beautiful shower in her new attic bathroom.
Kate offered one bit of advice for any tile project: “Spend time laying out your tile before setting it. It helps to give a visual to get an idea of how the installation will go once you actually start.”
The choice of matte white tile make the finished shower clean and beautiful. The brick pattern is a timeless layout for subway tile although subway tile can also be installed in a grid or herringbone pattern as well. If you want to take a gander at some of our best looking subway tile, check out our Subway Tile Theme Page.
Accented by chrome fixtures, this classic shower will be enjoyed for many years to come.
