Kathleen’s Kitchen Update
Posted On February 12, 2016
When Kathleen began her kitchen renovation, her main goal was to transform her dark and dated kitchen into a lighter and more airy space.
The previous kitchen included dull gray corian countertops with matching ‘backsplash’ that was very hard to keep clean. This was specifically something Kathleen wanted to change in her new space.
Acting as her own designer for her renovation, Kathleen chose white cabinets and appliances and brings in color through shades of blues and greens in her glass tile backsplash, pendant lighting, and paint choices.
There are three factors Kathleen says guide her project direction: function, esthetics, and cost. By updating her kitchen, Kathleen has created a beautiful and practical space. By using a glass subway tile backsplash, cleaning is much easier than before. Interested in a subway tile look like the one in this post? Drop by our Subway Tile Theme Page.
