Constructed in 1994, Randy’s marble and pink master bathroom was in desperate need of an update from the original construction. Randy turned to South Cypress to help create the new space.
The bathroom prior to renovation
The previous bathroom featured a lot of carpet flooring and pink tones that just didn’t fit Randy’s style.
The bathroom had a bidet that was taking up too much space
One of the changes randy wanted to make was that he wanted to reduce the amount of space dedicated to the bidet.
The shower enclosures of the previous bathroom
The previous bathroom had these glass enclosures that broke up the space. Randy wanted to update the aesthetics while making the whole room more functional.
The previous vanities
The previous vanities were out of date and needed to be replaced. Randy wanted to keep the chandeliers in the room, but wanted to add masculine lines and colors throughout the room.
Randy decided to open up the bathroom
To open the bathroom up, Randy decided to demolish the shower enclosures.
The new toilet area
Randy reduced the area dedicated to the bidet and installed beautiful new wood look tile throughout the space.
The new shower
The new shower! Randy used beautiful American Heritage wood look tile in color Spice to create this beautiful open shower with dual shower heads.
The new shower has a very minimal design
The minimal new shower design opens up directly into the bathroom. It’s completely unique!
The new vanities
The new vanities look great! Randy said he wanted to use modern lines and colors to create a masculine counterpoint to the chandeliers. We think he did an excellent job!
The awesome new clawfoot bathtub
Randy completely gutted the marble bathtub encasing and replaced it with a beautiful new clawfoot bathtub. One of the great things about using wood look tile on this project is that it allows them to have a consistent wood look from the shower to the bathtub without fear of water damage.
The difference between the new bathroom and the old one is absolutely stunning!
